This past Friday at work I had an argument with my friend/co-worker were she told me about about her friend's pregnancy situation. Brenda explains that her friend is pregnant and is hesitant in whether she should continue with the pregnancy or take pills to abort. Brenda says that she is concerned for her friend because she plans on taking pills not suited for pregnant women. All this with out any medical attention. In the other part, her boyfriend is influencing on her to abort. Brenda thinks that she will end up attempting abortion. Her mother's friend does not know about the situation. Brenda asks me what she should do. I then say that she must tell her friend's mom so she can help her because if she doesn't she can end up hurting herself with those pills. Brenda says that will cause a major fight between her and her friend. I say that her friend's life is more important than their friendship. She says that its none of her business. I respond that it is if they are friends. She shoots back saying that she does not want to get between her and her mom. I end up asking her if they have been friends for a long time. She responds with a 'no'. Then I say that it is worth breaking their friendship in such case.
